Plus even if we **** up a very easy qualifying group, we are automatically in a play off place for the finals. Where we could be playing several games at Wembley.
Man City’s past 38 games (length of a league season) v teams from south of England or south Wales: 37 wins, 1 draw
Had a South African on board I collected from Heathrow this morning and on the way in we were talking about football, he asked who my team were and I told him QPR, he gave a big smile and asked if I'd heard of Roy Wegerle, I said of course and he said he went to school with him in South Africa and said what total sportsman he was, good at anything he tried his hand at. His brothers and sister were also top sportsmen/women in different sports and he wasn't surprised when I told him he had become a pro golfer after he quit football, as he said he could turn his hand to anything and soon master it. Good excuse to show this again...
Yep in the team to deliver and at last he is doing it consistently. GS is a very honourable man and I am told first hand keeps in touch with Solly as they had a good relationship at U21 Probably down the pecking order but if he keeps it up who knows ... as said before seems like yesterday he was in our 5 a side team His father still a far better player imo Those were the days training three nights a week two games at the weekend miss it and currently unable to play myself but where there a will Best mate coached him from 7 years old They grow quickly my youngest used to play with our ever own Joel Lynch ... how he made it I know not and my lad best central midfielder back then in the southern countries is now selling Toyotas Always reminds me when My lads and Solly plus many others used to play on the French beaches we never saw Solly making it ... it was one of my lads or my mates son who was a keeper he got as far as playing for Warwick Uni and that was his lot Solly was pushed and massive sacrifices made by his lovely parents that’s the difference I think I should of pushed more I think myself
March looks to be finally nailing down a start with Brighton and is playing very well from what I've seen. However, with the huge amount of young, outstanding talent coming through for England, I seriously doubt whether he'll break into the international squad any time soon. Obviously injuries may open up a route for him and others.
Watching Leicester v spurs....very average game of very few chances until son scored a belter right on half-time....
