The Catholic church has had to bow to Scientific, Political and Common-sense pressure in order not to look like even more of a bunch of outdated fannies. They're not mugs like Creationists. Muslim Brotherhood? Egypt is going to change and will probably become another Iran. The main opposition group is the Muslim Brotherhood. I agree that that's not why people are protesting but I feel that the outcome will be another islamic state. And a bloody powerful and populus one too. Answer me this. Why are christians not roaming the world killing people because they don't believe in the Christian god?

Great book The simple fact is, many people believe in religion purely because they are too scared to accept that life is over when you die. The thought of a heaven is somewhat comforting I imagine.
Honestly that's pretty much the jist of what they're saying these days. Plus why did God send Jesus to the Middle East 2000 years ago? Surely making him a Hollywood Celebrity at the turn of the last millennium was more sensible. Give us a couple of thousand years to come to terms with the idea of Super-beings in the sky. Haha, Im back, and unsmited. My theory is thousands of years ago, aliens came to the planet and laid the building blocks for life to be sustainable here. It's more plausiable the moses parting the red sea and the idea of a great being in heaven.

Did you know that the whole "21 virgins" is actually mistranslated from scripture. Translated properly it actually means "21 beads". Beads were the currency back then. So it means you will be rich when you die. Not banging birds!
