Good afternoon from a sunny Bardsey My feelings over future signings is this
First of all don't show you are desperate
Secondly don't say we need a keeper and a defender and a winger because that will undermine your squad making them feel inferior I'm sure that we need a keeper
Beilsa must be very owners dream he cuts the wage bill and spends very little on the squad what a difference from Jose Morinho who moams that they wont give him a further 300m to strengthen his squad I think his days are numbered
So pleased to hear Ayling will be back soon and Brown and Bamford or in Sat squad

OLOF already told me about felching. He has strange hobbies, doesn't he? And even stranger mates. I'm guessing most of this goes on during his famous Sunday drink binges with Alf. I mean, could you really imagine getting involved in this ....

One of the major achievements from MB is how he has united the whole club and fan base. Some last season were calling for Victor Orta's head for the 'dross' he brought in. Bielsa this season, 'I'm very happy with the players Orta has brought to the club'. Within 20 games no-one is at VO's throat.
Remember the debates, Radz & Orta thought the players were top six quality, so when they stopped employing (it seems) sub standard coaches like TC & Heckingbum, at the moment looks like they may have a point. For me Bielsa will be the absolute miracle worker if he manages to avoid our traditional new year slump. Even back to the L1 promotion it nearly cost us. My fingers and toes are crossed that this won't happen this season.

I desperately wanted a clean sweep (end of last season), coach and Orta out and a new proper manager brought in and I am so glad I was wrong.

I don't know if Ortas signings were not bad in the first instance or if Bielsa is just a miracle worker, Orta has still made a few poor signings but I'm happy to cut him some slack now knowing that he is shopping for a club on a budget:

Hadi Sacko, Jay-Roy Grot, Pawel Cibicki, Caleb Ekuban, Felix Wiedwald, Vurnon Anita, Andy Lonergan, Pierre-Michel Lasogga, Matthew Pennington, Laurens De Bock, Cameron Borthwick-Jackson

Not great when you look at the failiures... ;)

Difference now, Bielsa is having the final say so I assume he has already turned some options down

In fairness that was when Glory went steller and think sensible guys like Eire lost it a bit too. Its an easy cop out to blame Orta and also remember a lot of flak about the 4 year contracts. Yes some of those were ditched by Bielsa but Orta was responsible for Pontus, Alioski, Saiz, Bamford, Pablo, Miazek, Clarke, Dalby, Edmondson, Halme, Davies, Stevens, Rey, Machuca, Strjik, Balboa and a lot more and many of those kids will end up being worth millions

Just seen it in todays paper. Leeds Uniteds greatest captain died 7th December 1997 at the age of 54. What a player Billy was he would have fitted in as captain nicely in todays team.
