A long press conference....certainly has got attention with coverage from Austrian television as well. Like the sound of him...says he will push everyone and if it is too much some will fall by the wayside. Mentions we have too many in some positions....suggests that some will move on. Promises that his teams show passion and fans will be pleased even if we lose...says cannot guarantee anything in football. Talks about it being nice when people praise you when you arrive, but it is better if they praise you when you leave. Get the feeling that the team won't know what has hit them, but I don't think they will mind if results pick up.
I loved Ralph’s presser, a very articulate and engaging man. Highlights: “Klopp has forgotten his German since he’s been in England, he doesn’t know what “hüttl” means. It’s a small hut, for the rabbits.” “There are no guarantees in football, if you want guarantees, buy a washing machine.” “We will get the players working hard. If they say “that’s enough” then we’ll see...” I feel we have unearthed a winner. Well done Ralph K, and I didn’t expect to ever be saying that!
Sadly thats football. It works both ways though. If we get a solid 2-0 win then he will be our saviour and we will stay up with ease!!
He seems prone to amusing comparisons....like a diluted Adkin. There was something about a tree not being nice but the wood is....think that means that the team could be good even if the players are crap. Something like that
I think that Pierre and Mario will turn out to be huge players for Ralph. I'm hoping that JWP gets more starts and that Bednarek comes in from the cold now. Sorry, posted this on the wrong thread, should've been the Ralph one.
I like how he come across in the clips I have seen on sky, looking good for the future. ......but did he mention any injury updates...Ings for example.
who do you think impressed him against Spurs? and who won't keep up with him? (sorry to say I missed the game here in Serbia)
