The Quack Is Back

Hello, not606ers.

I thought I should sign up and see what all the fuss is about.

It is lovely to see so many old 606 friends on here.

No sign of A2C, then?

Or Benny Hill? He was a strange one.

Anyway, I am back from my yearly research trip and now in the process of writing it all up for future publication.

What a great start to the season, eh? I have been to all of the matches, except for the opening fixture - I was laid up with a mystery illness.

Can't wait for tomorrow night - we are going to win 2-0.

Welcome to this pond Ducker. Its a bit different to the old 606 variety, The water in the pond can get a bit murky, but there are a few reeds around to clean it up, the odd lilypad, plenty of feesh, a deep (sometimes to deep) "end", plenty of bullrush and the odd drunken MT to watch out for!

Thank you so much for all the lovely messages, guys. I couldn't have wished for a warmer welcome. The pictures are great - and even a game thrown in for good measure!

Tomorrow, I shall write up a brief review of my travels for anyone interested. It was a great trip but, to be honest, it is lovely to be back home with my clan.

Now I can work from home for the next few months and also spend some time trying to find myself in Tewks' picture-game.

Ponders: if you want to meet up, I shall be around the normal spot at 7.30pm.
