Nice one. We're playing The Fiveways pub on Saturday, 22 December. Your family will know where it is. Big pub gig venue, that we've been playing for a long time. It's their last gig before Christmas, and is sure to be absolutely rammed. That would be the best gig to catch us at.
Yeah rumours are he is off January. Huge call for United considering how much they must make from him through merchandising etc and we all know that's what they're about these days. Cash cow.
We had to come up with a name for a cobbled together band to do a week in a club. After some mind altering substances we came up with Slippery John Thomas and the Featherlites. They only ****ing went for it!....
I was in there only a couple of days a go for a meeting. It's a great sports pub, and one of the major gig venues in Bournemouth. Anyone who is anyone on the local circuit plays there.
In terms of atmosphere. I’ve never walked up the steps to my seats and heard complete silence. We got going eventually once the game started but it was very strange to feel that way tonight. Arsenal are ****ing awful, perhaps the NLD took it out of them but from what I saw tonight they just look like the same old spineless ****e they’ve been for the last 15 years.
You were in there 30 mins prior to kick off?? Atmosphere looked ok. My last game I sat in the ne was packed and quiet.
Yeah went for a beer in the ground cos it was raining at the fan zone at the Emirates (cricket ground). It was a weird atmosphere, especially for Arsenal, even Matt Busby Way was quiet. The Jose Effect.
