If we can keep the pressure on City it will be interesting to see how they react. Last year they pretty much cruised it.
Gomez may be out for long but dont kid yourselves VVD and Alisson are the massive difference. Beasts!!!
Well 2nd half was a bit more enjoyable . Good showing from Milner , Keita in particular and so pleased Bobby scored as from then he immediately seemed to remember how to pass & move on & groove
He grew into the game and was superb in the second half. Showed real composure on the ball and moved it forward whenever he could, nothing sidewards or negative in his play book. Very impressed and hopefully he gets more regular opportunities to build on that. VVD played well, but it was Allison who stood out to me from the back 5. Just so solid, produced some great saves particularly in the latter moments of the game and once again set us up for a counter attacking goal at the end. They're looking like fantastic investments even at world (and former) record prices.
Bobby was much better once he came on, and not just because he scored! Keita looked good, bit like at the start of the season. Hope Gomez isn't out too long, he's just as important as VVD imo
Keita always on the half turn and looking to play forward. Great save from Alisson at the end and my fav bit was VDD introducing Vokes to the game.
