I think the footer was someone else. I don't think I ever had a footer. A combination of technical incompetence and nothing to say. Bournemouth's wage bill in the year ending June 2017 was £71.5 million. They made a profit of £14 million. The previous year was £59.5 million and they made a profit of £3.3 million. Burnley spent £27 million in 2016 on staff and £61m in 2017. Similar to us in financial terms. The difference must come down to the players and how they were managed.
Its not sad it's a fact. Also when the pressure was really on he blew it big time then ****ed off with all his staff immediately after the 7-1 ( or was nil) record home defeat by Spurs. We did play some nice football under him but he couldn't keep us up from a position of three points clear from the relegation places with only three games to go, two at home and one against an already relegated club and the other two against clubs with nothing to play for. He was also allowed to bring all his back room staff over and sign a shed load of players. He showed no loyalty at all to City, who gave him his first chance in the Premier League and his zonal marking tactic was horrendous. Did you not go to Palace away ?
Bournemouth They've spent ****ing millions and millions. To get where they are now. What was it a five year contract at 32 for Defoe. Theyre the most ridiculous comparison. Ever.
No Ben. He can’t even get that right but no body would argue against constructive dismissal. Forcing someone to leave and that person thinking they have no other options.
The signings were paid for when the old Sky deal was in place. Then sold when the new Sky deal was in place. As a reminder under the new deal, City received more for relegation than the champions received from the old. Is it possible this massive influx of money was more of a factor than Bruce's acumen in the transfer market?
There's only Clucas that you could claim went for an inflated fee, the others all went for the same amount you'd expect before the new deal took effect.
Yes, somehow I don't see this particular converted factory becoming the new Kemp Road. Or any other desirable location.
Ooops. Sorry. Now realise I should have put OT at the start of the post. Silly me. BTW, can you PLEASE stop doing groundhog day. Get a ****ing life before it's too late.
