City have the fear factor this season too, honestly believe most teams are beaten before they come out and that first goal for city is the real killer . Gives them a massive edge as most teams are happy not to get demolished.
Dunno.... The thing is they are still playing the the comps game with the qf of league cup coming up. The games will pile up and they will want to go deep in cl too. Last year they were out of fa cup and cl and made a point of chasing 100 points imo. I think they are quite soft at the back if you can survive the snide fouls yo break up play post the fast press. If you can get parity of possession from them you can cut through them. The back 4 are unimpressive and fernandinho survives on the edge cos he is on his own. Early yellow and city are side open.... see Europe. Sides sit too deep and give them too much respect
Bit of a scare for Citeh in the end ............**** defence, can't keep a clean sheet .........away at Chelsea next up
They will hammer Chelsea probably. We SHOULD be tied at top by right after this weekend going into cl last game on high
Nope I think if and it’s a big if we get the three points tomorrow Bournemouth will turn is over as it will be third in seven losing about half a day in rest to nearly everyone else Fine margins
Just looking at final results. Bournemouth win Brighton win West ham win. All firmly mid table. Cardiff, palace, Huddersfield all lose and are firmly relegation candidates. The league certainly is dividing into clear blocks.
Well I do little bets sometimes ... What I do think is tomorrow is an opportunity we simply have to take We need to send out a signal to city that we are coming Now for once they have only won by one so tomorrow we need to start to claw some of this gd back by winning well Not sure that will happen but I can but hope
Pochettino 'proud' of Tottenham - because of Liverpool fans Mauricio Pochettino believes Tottenham have become one of the country’s most respected sides - citing Liverpool fans’ supposed delight at their defeat to Arsenal. Spurs are now six points off the Reds following the weekend’s results, which saw Tottenham lose the North London derby and Liverpool triumph in the Merseyside derby. The two clubs have been jostling for supremacy in recent seasons, although Spurs have finished above the Reds in eight of the last nine seasons. The tide has turned during this campaign with Jurgen Klopp’s side enjoying a 2-1 victory at Wembley in September. But Pochettino believes such rivalry - both on and off the pitch - shows how far his side have come. The Argentine coach even cited his chief scout Steve Hitchen’s experience at Anfield at the weekend - where he seen fans cheering Arsenal’s 4-2 victory over Spurs - as proof. https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/spo...iverpool-news-transfers-live-fabinho-15361639
ffs lol we was delighted because you could have won by cheating! and the better team won. we are supposedly crap, yet i don't remember seeing spurs in either finals of the big comps recently, if ever!! well done on top 4 trophy
they are obsessed. they should focus on their disastrous stadium build and their inability to buy anyone... oh and on their in ability to win anything. The actual facts are their game ended well before ours started so if a few had a cheeky cheer cos they'd nothing better to do while sat in anfield 10-15 mins before kick off who gives a ****e.
