lol, not big ones, 2 from a six pack. I probably should be fat, but I think as I rarely drink booze (about 50 units a year at a push) I've not got a belly.

    Lover of pies and pasties.

At WHL Spurs used to do a great Chicken Balti. I like a good homemade steak and red pepper pie as well.

As for pasties, give me a Cornish one any day of the week and I don't mind a steak or chicken bake from Greggs every now and then either.

Pies and pasties are just great food, hard to find too many faults with them.

Just a joke given the discussion earlier about Pie v Pasty. To be clear I am not advocating pie eating whilst driving.

<laugh> some of the things I've seen whilst driving are beyond belief ... especially the M25 ... scariest one was on the Heathrow stretch of the M25 about this time last year ... was in a jam and in the fast lane ... there was a rather nice looking bird in a sporty car behind me ... traffic was continual stop start ... she was trying to do her make-up in the vanity mirror on her sun visor whilst driving <doh> .... every time we went forward I'd drive as far as I could, to then see her in my mirrors coming up behind at a rate of knots and slamming the anchors on at the very last minute as she noticed where I was ... after about the third attempt I thought "**** this" and moved lanes <laugh>

The pies at WHL were pretty good as I recall.

Talking about food at footie grounds ... when we played Watford this week their fans unfurled a huge banner in commemoration of our late Chairman that read "Thank you for making us ALL dream" or very similar ... our new Chairman (his son "Top") was so moved by the gesture that he responded by making all food and drink sales in the away section free at half-time .... in his father's footsteps <ok>

Nice gesture. I bet the bar staff weren't thrilled though.

Not a fan of a savoury pie, apart from the occasional growler.

Big fan of the pasty though, though not so much the Cornish variety and more the puff pastry Greggs offering or a Morrison’s cheese and onion slice. Sausage rolls are of course a winner.

    What's everyone's take on a Ginster?

They are very nice hot but can't be microwaved without turning to molten play dough and who has the time or patience to take them home and heart properly in an oven? No one.

Yet, there are still there at every filling station and corner shop in the country. They just aren't that great cold so who the **** eats them?

As you can only get them in petrol stations, I assumed they were made from roadkill?

I love them but I like the one with coleslaw in the middle other than the egg ones.

They’re alright microwaved but they’re not finger food when nuked. I’m a fan, got one in the fridge as it goes.

I could certainly eat 4 in a row no problem. Haven't had one for years though might put that right when I go to London in a couple of weeks.
