Been playing for 2 years now, right into it. I have 5 guitars, Gretsch projet, epiphone SG (i keep it at work, i work abroad), Tele, Fender Acoustic and a Saga acoustic. I thought i was into music before but since playing the guitar i have got right into it.

So this is the guitar thread.....on a football forum. Who's a great guitarist? What bands should i look out for? Post your tabs for songs! What gear do you have, and what do you recommend and suggest i stay away from!!!

    Open to anything Guitar......music!! :emoticon-0159

  5. I'm 34 and I've been playing for about 19 years.

Still have the same squire strat I saved up for as a teenager but I've got my epiphone acoustic and two of my daughters have acoustics now too.

I would love a real SG - love one.

  7. I would happily have this on a t-shirt or on my gravestone (I say gravestone, I really mean hemp-made marker on a tree my hemp-bag wrapped body has been deposited under)

  11. Much as I hate hippies, they had better drugs than punks.

Just the Bass for me, I have stubby fingers.

I have 3 electric basses and an accoustic, my pride n joy is my Epiphone Thunderbird.

I was at a mate's and I had a shot of a Warwick streamer bass with a 350watt stack. Sounded epic.

Yeah they're ok but I prefer QoTSA, sameyish sort of sound but Queens are more melodic.
