What are you worried about. Another people's vote. It's in the bag isn't it? Labour on whom you rely have already stated that they would be happy with that as an alternative.

Nope it’s normal here if the government **** up then there is action other than that life is beautiful in one of the most beautiful countries in the world

It’s all about master and servant or equate that to the UK rich farmers and a bunch of sheep

Well Brexiteers could put on a March or a protest
Or like I have said for years the UK will just moan and get on with their real job ... spending money and keeping up with the Jones ... it’s knackered

More gobbledegook from our resident europhile expert.
France is burning down around his ears, but like Nero he just fiddles on.

The UK is a self obsessed nation
    No unions and no power
I recommend getting an exit plan

A no deal thankfully has at last been put down with the same theatre that the UK culture is addicted to

It’s all going to plan plus no one will vote for anyone next time

I wouldn't worry just yet mate. Long way to go. The Grieve amendment is not legally binding and can be ignored.
there can still be a 'no deal' (if that's what people want).
Even my most hated Labour member who pulls Jezza's strings doesn't want a peoples vote (plus they don't have the numbers).
The way ahead must surely be that May fails/she goes/we go back and tell the EU we want changes or we walk.
As soon as they know we will walk, like Macron they will 'cave in' it's in their make up. Best way to defeat bullies is to stand up against them. They will never want us to leave with a no deal as it would break up the EU. They need our money. The whole thing relies on our money and trade.

If Brexit doesn't happen Watford they can call it what they want but they will have 17 Million people voting...unless you count the old people that died who voted Brexit. :emoticon-0100-smile

They’ll have a handful of people moaning and the rest will have forgotten what they were angry about as they’ve got a dog running in the 5:30 at Wimbledon.

There will never be another argument about how good their roads are compared to ours? Especially when they are blocked by blokes in yellow vests and you get your car burnt out?

I don't think people will forget if betrayed... remember 421 out of 574 English and Welsh constituencies probably voted to Leave. More than 100 Labour seats voted to leave, and many more Tory. If you are dealing with these sorts of numbers you can form a government. Once formed we can all 'go to the dogs'. :1980_boogie_down:

If I hear that bloody stupid "ruining my children's future" line again I will explode. <steam>
Did I ever have a say when they signed us up to this gang? Why can't these people work out that their children are not old enough to vote. When they are old enough, they can have a say but until then it has nothing to do with them.

Johnny Mercer, the Tory MP and former army officer, elected in Plymouth in 2015, has taken to the streets in his constituency to ask people how they want him to vote. He voted Remain in the referendum while his constituency voted leave.

There is a clip of him wandering the streets on the BBC news website. He seems like a charming and approachable bloke, with an encouraging air of humility. His conclusion was that the exercise didn’t help much, those who wanted to leave still do, and those who wanted to remain still do. The good news Johnny is that by voting against May’s deal you can keep both sides happy(ish), though this does plunge us into a further ocean of uncertainty.

One of his constituents got it spot on - ‘you have a really tough job to do, but you applied for it. You have to do what you think is best’. Which sums up what representative democracy is meant to be about.

Yeah, he seems quite likeable. He called May's government a '****show', which is spot on.
