Breaking MPs have approved a motion which finds ministers in contempt of Parliament and orders the immediate publication of the “final and full” legal advice on the Brexit deal Government defeated in contempt of Parliament vote 311-293.
MPs have found that the government was in contempt of parliament by refusing to publish the legal advice it was given on the Brexit negotiations. What a farce this whole process is.
Maybe we should have another vote like the last one but next time if leave win we should remain in the EU and give away every thing to them? That might make some happy.

So have I just heard that government has just given itself more powers and that if mays deal fails then they decide what we should and vote on it? If I have heard this right then that would kill off Brexit and democracy. Most MPs are remainers so we know where this is going.

Styled “the biggest tax robbery in European history”, it included some of the EU’s largest banks such as Deutsche, Barclays, JPMorgan, UBS and Santander. The fraud was executed via the “cum-ex” purchases of bonds and shared, a method by which banks can hide the identities of their clients. The clients are then able to claim multiple tax breaks on the trades. It is estimated to have costs taxpayers in Germany alone €31.8bn between 2001 and 2016. The findings are the result of a massive cross-border investigation involving 12 countries and 19 media outlets, compiling over 180,000 pages of documents, all of which was published on October 18. It was only recently that Denmark’s biggest lender, Danske bank, was discovered to have engaged in the biggest money laundering scam in European history, channelling €200bn of Russian money via Estonia. Deutsche Bank has already admitted handling some of the funds. And yet, remarkably, the EU is still pressing on with its banking union plans. Integration always comes first. At a recent summit in Brussels the plans were agreed to move forward, with leaders claiming it would provide a more stable environment. The existing levels of information exchange within the EU, as demonstrated by the cum-ex scandal, did nothing to stop such widespread fraud taking place. As usual, the overwhelming political desire to increase integration is pushing the project faster than its structures and states can cope with. The ‘integrate then fix’ model doesn’t work, as shown by the severity of the eurozone crisis. The EU needs to start recognising this.
If they don't implement Brexit this country will lose 1000 years of democracy. That would be more of a problem than a no deal brexit.

I don't think they can just say "that's it we will stay in". Col could be right in that remainers make it so hard to leave that they push for a second vote. That seems to be gathering steam... However, I believe that leave would win by a bigger majority if it happened. As I said before I have 2 friends that voted remain and wouldn't do the same next time whereas Brexitiers will still vote leave especially after how they have been treated. Constitutionally I think the whole thing of a second vote would be a nightmare. Remembering that both Labour and Tories said they would implement Brexit.
Dominic Grieve amendment vote. The government lost it. Basically it is regarding having a say over Plan B (when May's deal fails). It is really to stop a no deal but others are saying it means they can vote on other things.
I listened to the radio today and some Scottish MP was being so patronising. Firstly she said "the people didn't know what they voted for 2 years ago and we should put it back to them" ? . Then she said that "the government should really make these tough decisions"!
