TAA came 2nd in the young player award, Salah voted 6th best in the world. Not that it'll make a bit of difference to either of them.
bipolar. Must be. He #calledit on top 4 2 games ago. now its impossible? something tells me he's just seen how good arsenal are and whats coming this midweek.
hes just making excuses for when he eventually( please don't ) gets sacked wasn't my fault mourinho style all about the pay offs with him ££££ he's built a good career out of it to be fair though.
I'm really bored of mourinho. It was funny but it's just boring now. Its not like theres even enough mancs to get a rise out of on this site either, mourinho killed them all off.
Liverpool title rivals Man City could be BANNED from Champions League UEFA commissioned an independent investigation in response to the allegations https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/spo...news/liverpool-title-rivals-man-city-15501801
amazing how thorough eufa want to be with English teams what about other teams who are probably doing similar
there was contact but it was one of them where the forward stops running so is already falling under his own momentum before Foster touched him. On this theme i'm getting really irritated by Manes regular "simulation"/diving and feigning injury of which there appears to be at least 1 example per match
Would var sort that blatant cheating out? Yes it's a ****ing example lol, but latest one i can think of, in derby game everton player went down, but as soon as he realized they had the ball going forward got up quick enough!! (Might have been richarlson but dont quote me on that lol) Will they punish players looking for contact before any been made? Or still be open to interpretation!
there were several occasions everton players just lay down and ref ignored them as did we. Ricarldson seems a really costa like player. A real competitor but with every dirty trick in the book attached. I've no issue really with him but he did try get 3 or 4 different LFC players in trouble and did try the sly head butt on gomez to break up the play and try get a reaction. The thing about that is once you catch a ref out once it goes through the PGMOL or whatever like a dose of salts and they all start watching you. Costa by the end couldn't set foot on a pitch for cheslea without refs targeting him. Neymar is the same. he did an outrageous showboating trick in the corner late on and it comes off so he then after losing it to gomez threw himself down clutching his face claiming an elbow and replays shown there was not even any closeness of anything to his face. You get a rep for this stuff. then players like fernandinho everyone knows what he does but he's quiet about it and gives them no trouble so they ignore it. If you don't book him til 60mins you don't get press blow back. If you fall for a dive or miss a sending off though the press crucify you. Of course refs focus on what gets them in trouble
VAR won't sort out diving if its outside the box. Ref has to actually call for it. VAR is for: GOALS The role of the VAR is to assist the referee to determine whether there was an infringement that means a goal should not be awarded. As the ball has crossed the line, play is interrupted so there is no direct impact on the game. PENALTY DECISIONS The role of the VAR is to ensure that no clearly wrong decisions are made in conjunction with the award or non-award of a penalty kick. DIRECT RED CARD INCIDENTS The role of the VAR is to ensure that no clearly wrong decisions are made in conjunction with sending off or not sending off a player. MISTAKEN IDENTITY The referee cautions or sends off the wrong player, or is unsure which player should be sanctioned. The VAR will inform the referee so that the correct player can be disc If a goal is scored it should be reviewed. Was there offside. did a player obstruct unfairly... its is the goal good to give? If a pen is awarded means you dive outside box and get harry wilson a free... easy. You are not meant to review that dive. If a red card offence occurs (not two yellows i think?) then you review and determine. So if the ref decides something is a bad tackle he can get a review. IN THEORY loads of diving and time wasting etc can go on and never get reviewed.
The IFAB says VAR is only to be used "to correct clear errors and for missed serious incidents" in those "match-changing" situations. VARs and other match officials are able to recommend reviews, but the only person who can initiate one is the referee, who will then have the final say on whether their original decision should stand or be changed. They have the option to review footage themselves on a pitch-side monitor before making a final decision. So a video ref can get in refs ear and say you've missed x or y but ref can ignore. There is no resolution to diving unless its to get a pen. a harry wilson free kick is as good as a goal so if derby dive in the fa cup then it should be reviewed.... otherwise utd's young, cheslea's hazard, liverpools mane and evertons richarldson can dive to their hearts content. they just need to be aware that if they roll about too much caliming assault that it could become is this a red card offense in which case they might get caught. In other words... dive but don't exaggerate to the point you have been molested.
That's a dodgy president to set. Ref can call for var but it's up to ref to decide if to look, even if in his ear he should look at an incident!! Anthony taylor will have a field day when it suits him
