Jurgen Klopp is set to make changes for Liverpool's Premier League trip to lowly Burnley on Wednesday night. Sadio Mane (foot) and Andy Robertson (dead leg) are both injury concerns for the Reds in the wake of Sunday's dramatic win over Everton at Anfield. p:nth-of-type(2)","sizes":[[8,8]],"hideOnSensitiveArticle":true,"relativePos":"after","additionalClass":"in-article","name":"div-gpt-ad-vip-slot","type":"VIP"}' data-gpt-placeholder="" data-type="gpt"> Captain Jordan Henderson is available again after serving a one-match ban, while Dejan Lovren will return to the squad after being left out of the Merseyside derby. Daniel Sturridge and derby hero Divock Origi will be hoping to get an opportunity up front after coming off the bench against the Blues. Roberto Firmino struggled against Marco Silva's side and looks in need of a breather. James Milner, Alberto Moreno, Naby Keita and Joel Matip are also on standby. https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/spo.../jurgen-klopp-eyes-liverpool-changes-15499715
Sounds like it. 3 points v burnely are as important as 3 points v Chelsea to us but equally looking forward 2 or 3 weeks we will drop a lot of points if knackered. My selections. Alisson Taa lovren vvd Moreno ( yeah him) Keita Henderson milner Salah sturridge shaqiri That's a fully rested midfield and 2 of front 3 are. If he wants to really **** the game he could play a 442 diamond with origi up top and shaqirir behind.
The expectation needs to be this side can't defend. We need the win need a sense of urgency out of midfield and forwards.... which is of course is problem
I believe Klopp is going to have the games against Bournemouth and Napoli in mind in his selection. We cannot afford to play weakened team on Wednesday and Saturday. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
Burnley ended up in 7th place last season. It's all gone wrong for them so far this time but it doesn't mean they're a useless side all of a sudden. We have to be wary, and as mentioned above, these three points are as important as any 3. They might remember how to play football one day so let's just make sure it's not tomorrow and we're not the ones to jog their memory.
I don't understand where it's gone wrong for them. They can't defend this year and goals are a struggle. if we lost this game is be furious. if they sat back for 0-0 and got it ok.. **** happens. We are not in good form so it's be no shock
Tbf they have been up and down a bit over recent years, but Dyche seemed to have settled them down a bit. You'd expect them to be comfortably mid-table really. Earlier on I thought their Europey efforts might have thrown them a bit but you'd think they'd be over that by now. We just can't afford to be too complacent, and I don't think we should be rotating any more than is necessary due to the fixture pile-up over the next few weeks.
You would think. I can't believe their preseason was so disrupted that this issue is continuing this long.
Played GD Points 18 Southampton 14 -14 9 19 Burnley 14 -16 9* 20.Fulham 14 -21 8 Being bottom three does not mean it's going be an easy game. Southampton showed Manchester united on Saturday. If we are serious contenders, it is the type of game we need to win.
Burnely lost to palace 2-0 last time out. Apprently they fialed to register a shot til after 60mins 20Hart 2Lowton 28Long 6MeeBooked at 42mins 3Taylor 25Lennon (Brady) 16Defour (Vokes) 4Cork 7Berg Gudmundsson 13Hendrick 11Wood (Barnes) Substitutes 1Heaton 5Tarkowski 9Vokes 10Barnes 12Brady 18Westwood 26Bardsley thats the team line up off BBC report. a) hart is in goal.... is that a reason? they had pope and before that the old lad who's name escapes me and both were lauded. b) found this formation. its not the final one for palace, not sure when it was. please log in to view this image
Yeah, Heaton is the other keeper. Pope looked very good last season but I think both were injured at the same time so they signed Hart
My extensive research a) There's no burnley fans on not606 b) their fans on something called uptheclarets (not its not on pornhub) are quite negative and sarky. Apparently Dyke is being quite negative and gone into his shell so we might expect a 10 mean back effort from them. They are really negative out a player called Vydra that they signed off derby in the summer. Their striker. They are all expecting 4 and 5 goals from us and nothing from them at all. Only a few jokers making up odd 1-0 type results to buck the trend of negativity and wind each other up (like i'd do) So I've no clue whats gone wrong but mentality will be key in the game. Last year i remember them hurting us at home by putting pressure on us and forcing us into errors. We will see if they've got that negative mind set about them and try sit real deep.
