At that time the fuel burned in the boilers was known as heavy oil. To assist viscosity the fuel tanks had steam coils to heat the oil. One of these cracked. How did they know? The condensate returned to a hot-well fitted with a sight glass. Then the fun began trying to determine which tank had the fault.
Neither can I. I fear for the future of the club to be honest. When you think Leicester, with a newer, larger stadium went for £37 million it makes you realise how unrealistic the figures bandied about for city are.

Leicester's ground is certainly a bit bigger but it ain't newer than ours. We moved mid season in December 2002 whilst Leicester moved into their new stadium at the start of the 2002/03 season. Granted their stadium is properly maintained whilst ours clearly isn't so it may well look newer!
Though, I have since found out, they didn't wholly own it until 2013. Was a complicated situation when they went into administration.
Suck it up bitter ****. Best most successful period in our history. Best manager and the best players we've ever had. And he managed through the chaos of the Allams reign. Deal with it ****er.
Not being a pain in the arse here Chazz, but I'd say SOME of the best players we have had in our history. Probably our most successful & best ever TEAM as far as league position. Most successful manager in our history on the same basis.
