I dunno why people say that folk didn’t know what they were voting for, it’s like some bullshit quote that remoaners have invented. People voted to leave the EU, it’s not that hard to understand.
Best out of 3, then? I'm not sure remain would win a landslide, I'd imagine the leave vote would win again. I know remain voters ready to vote leave if there's another vote, the reason is because you can't keep voting until you get what you want and it will be the end of democracy if the vote is overturned. That's their words, not mine. The negotiations have been done by the remain camp. May is a remain voter and you can tell by the **** deal she is attempting to pass through parliament. Anyway, we voted to leave. We need to get on with it.
If there was another referendum tomorrow, the time between the two referendums would be longer than the time between the last two general elections. Just saying.
You credit the average man on the street with far too much intelligence, they thought they were voting for less brown people because they don't know the difference between Europe and Africa or Asia.
The majority on both sides knew little about the impact of leaving. The voting should never have happened in the first place as it was being carried out by uninformed people being led either way by a pack of lies which made it very tricky to know possible truth from outright lie. When it comes to politics I sometimes find it a reliable guide to make my choices by studying other people. I look at the two resident idiots I know, see which way they're voting and do the opposite. Though really, if people don't know something for sure they shouldn't vote. Blind voting when you're stupid and refuse to research and are easily led is not true voting. And I know for a fact those two idiots know no actual advantages or disadvantages of being in the EU. Something as permanent and long-lasting as leaving the EU shouldn't have been allowed to have been decided on by a population with so many selfish idiots in it. Or, if it really had to, then the selfish idiots at least had to have been told in slightly more objective terms all the possibilities open to them for either scenario. I bet even now a huge percentage of voters don't even know what the EU does for the UK right now, how much it costs, the reasons to leave, the reasons to stay etc.
I think remain would win, simply because those who didn’t vote previously will be less apathetic and have got bored with all of the garbage in the news every day. I couldn’t care less to be honest, but it’s all academic cos it’s not gonna happen.
I’m not even watching it mate, obviously there’s some mongs out there but equally remain will have secured a shed load of votes from people who think their trip to Benidorm would be out of reach. You can’t assert that people voted based on good politics on either side.
I’ll watch it later mate when I’m eating my sausage roll and shouting at all of the Polish people on their way home.
