    Good Morning Everyone

Leeds maintained their strong hold for an automatic promotion slot on Saturday by beating promotion (and local) rivals Sheffield Utd.

A misplaced pass by manchester united loanee keeper Dean Henderson straight into the path of Jack Clarke was the difference between the teams.

The youngster calmly skipped the goal keepers desperate attempt to make amends, and squared the ball to Hernandez. The Spaniard struck the ball first time towards the empty net with on rushing defenders moments away from making a challenge.

    Did Leeds deserve the win?

What did everyone think of Peacock Farrell's performance on Saturday.

To me, he looked very uncomfortable on set pieces, especially corners.

Saying that, he his shot stopping ability was very positive!

Could Stockdale be on his way to ER?

Only days after the 33 year old was signed on loan to Wycombe, Birmingham have recalled him!

Liam Cooper became the latest player to succumb to the Leeds Utd injury jynx!

The Elland Road Captain went down off the ball in the 19th minute and had to be helped from the field.

Cooper had previously hurt his knee in Leeds’ 2-0 win over Bristol City seven days earlier.

    Should he have played?

Bielsa himself has described the injury as serious, though obviously we will not know the extent of the damage until further tests are done.

It was only a fortnight ago that Bielsa reassured the ER faithful that we do not need another defender in the January transfer window.

Surely, this will change his mind?

I'm sure we were all impressed with Halme's display, but with Ayling, Cooper and Berardi all out until at least the New Year, surely bringing in another centre back is needed?

    Good morning Matt & everyone

An experienced CB was required in the summer

After yet another superlative display from Jansson we are up the creek if he suffers an injury in the next month or so !

Morning all, if Halme gets selected and plays as well as he did when he came on against Sheffield then we should be okay... for now..

He does look like he is a bit lightweight, I wouldn’t want him having to defend too many corners or set pieces just yet.

At the end of the day we want promotion this season, we need players like Clarke and Halme stepping up to the plate now because if they cant cut it at this level now, they’re going to be a million miles away if we were promoted.

Cooper is an okay Championship defender, we need to be looking at signing someone to displace Cooper and who can be ready for PL football next season.

I know I’m jumping the gun but we need to show ambition now, we’ve got the coach, we’ve got the backroom, we’ve got everything in place, we just need one or two quality signings.

After watching the Blades keeper pull off some great saves, then make that awful mistake, I’ve come to the conclusion there are no great keepers at this level.

I keep hearing it was a great performance. Ultimately a lot of football fans take the result and then rate the performance on it. It was a battling performance and we ground out a result, which is a great habit to get into and we managed to keep them relatively quiet so did our job defensiveky... but they did a job on us offensively for most of the game and stopped us playing... by fair means and foul.

Realistically they should have been down to 9 men at half time and we should have had at least one penalty so morally we deserved a win, but in footballing terms you’d say they were well worth a point.

None of that matters, just the 3 points.

BPF was struggling on crosses yesterday, they were blocking and targeting him but it wasn’t convincing. Big save at 0-0 though.

Halme did well, but almost cost us a goal dithering, did a lot of shirt pulling and could have given a penalty away, so maybe a bit like bpf he rode his luck a bit on Saturday, but big game to come into and otherwise he looked a prospect.

    Morning All

Peacock-Farrell is still young and he's got a few years to learn his craft. You've got to remember a GK hits his prime in his 30s give him a few years and see how he improves.

A CB and a ST is something that is desperately needed.it's great to see the kids stepping up to the plate but at the end of the day they need an old head to learn their craft from. Woodgate had Radebe when he broke through under DOL. Rio had Ruddock at West Ham. The striker situation worries me as we only have Tyler and Roofe while Bamford is out. Larry had at least 4 strikers in rotation.

I do believe that kids are the future but they need somebody to guide them or it's going to be wasted talent

Ditto to all this. Would also like to ask, does anyone think that referees should be held more accountable for their actions in the form of post match interviews where they can explain the reasons behind some of the decisions made.

    Morning all <ok>

I never try and outguess Bielsa and if he says he doesn't need a CB then that's good enough for me. In fairness to everyone who has mentioned it I would usually agree but just maybe with Cooper being out he might just change his mind, unless Beradi/Ayling are going to fit straight back in before a new CB lands and needs getting ready for Bielsaball?

Keeper is deffo required and Bielsa agrees but he refused Stockdale in the Summer, will he change his mind, he seemed to refuse to talk about Heaton but very interested in the Newcastle keeper and the rangers 2nd choice keeper? both mentioned above in he transfer sticky. Probably the best keeper we had in years was sold to make Bates a few quid and he has just got better and better and is now a full danish International. Young Kasper was a good and better than older Kasper A who took his place.

Odds are saying Bielsa is after a keeper a winger and a striker

How much do Sky Sports hate Leeds Utd? They have just published their team of the month and 4 Villa players are in and no Leeds players

I don’t watch much premiership football but there have been keeper howlers in most of the ones I have. The World Cup was littered with shockers from the world’s best.

In our games this season we’ve had gifts from krul, butland and Henderson and had plenty of others where the keeper could have done better.

Maybe it’s always been this way, maybe it’s modern balls moving faster through the air and swerving more, maybe all keepers are crap these days but mistakes happen

    I like this one myself

I agree with Milky that any keeper mistake usually results in an embarrassing goal and head in hands time. We've seen plenty of England keeper have howlers but I think its how the management and fans treat the keeper straight after that makes the difference. The stick Felix took last year was a joke and I would bet any money you want that Bielsa wouldnt have treated Felix like the other dipshits did. They could have dealt with his nerves straight away but let his suffer. The fans then joined in just like they did with Grot who was played out of position and booed. The irony about Felix is that he was brought in because he was great with his feet and throwing out and was going to start playing out from the back. TC wasnt Bielsa though and so he badly managed and coached

BPF isn't strong enough for me yet so I would prefer a new No1 coming in

The problem with or fans is you give one bad performance and we're on your back to the end of the season. Playing out of position or not one bad game and you're screwed. Look at Nunez played out of position after Gradel left and no one let the poor guy live it down

Did you know you could be fined £15,000 like Jason Punchoen for making that post.

Fair point wcd but we are all accountable in our working lives, if we constantly do our jobs wrong we would be shown the door, so why would referees be immune.
