With Cedric recent poor performances at RB, I would certainly consider keeping him in the team. Especially for Cardiff as an aerial assault negated Cedric completely
I'm in favour of giving the best youngsters experience....our usual starters aren't setting the world alight.
I think in the second instance he thought the ball was running out of play and relaxed. Schoolboy error. Vin
He put in one really courageous, perfectly timed tackle on Luke Shaw; totally legal but a real bone-cruncher. Good to see them both emerge unscathed from that one.
The answer to the Cedric conundrum has been staring us in the face all this time - just play him on the right
Since when does that stop any of our CBs from playing? But seriously, why doesn't he get the chance to have a go? Jack couldn't get a game and yesterday was our best CB. Michael and Velery have had a long wait and seem to have done well. Maybe Jan should get his chance. Anyone fancy Vesergard v Kane?
You mean left, yeah? I remember Clyney v Villa a few seasons ago. We swapped him to the left when we were one down and he scored in the 4-1 win. Started our season that year
Yes, left, that’s right. I had a senior moment. Anyway, I think we should clutch at any straws we can right now, so I’ll go with last night being an omen
I noticed that several of our players specifically went over to congratulate De Gea for the save from Redmonds long range effort, very sporting imo.
Since Martin Chivers departed. He was my hero at the time. However, his replacement Frank Saul was more than useful and the cash allowed Ted Bates to strengthen other áreas of the team.
May be but he didn't do a Pickford did he? Just watched a replay of it, and it was a decent shot and had to be saved.
