Prem refs favour big clubs big time but they also have developed a nasty habit of managing the numbers of cards between a low and high level per game and utterly ignore stuff up to about 30mins. If you don't make a shirt pull blindingly obvious, don't show studs in a challenge you can basically get away with murder in prem. Kick ball away.. no prob. Elbows, no bother. Flop about no problem. Mouth off.. sure why not. Arms round forwards.. not even a foul. But every defender who falls over gets a free. Then the instant they get to second half its a whole different attitude as thry go out to get 3 or 4 in the book so thry are not questioned on laxity. Then they revert to type and it's almost impossible to get two yellows... unless you are an idiot called Henderson. Refs imo operated on a mode to avoid sending off anyone as thry get lambasted for ruining game
Hope our game isn’t as good as this Hope it’s an uneventful 3-0 win for us but I doubt it Fear the worst Hoping for best Prob draw
