Was over at the WMC a few years back in Miami and was sitting outside having a bite to eat when we heard these 2 chicago house DJs battling off against each other outside a bar. Taking turns scratching against each other. There was about 6 people there when they started and must have been about 70 people after about 5 minutes, superb skills.

Sounded amazing and that was 1 of the first NYE parties on Radio 1 that day. My brother and a few mates were over at Gatecrasher millenium event (25,000 people) and he said that during 1 of the sets some wingnut had climbed up a pole and was jumping from the Gatcrasher sign totally off his nut. Said that they had to stop the music and everyone started a 25,000 strong "****er! ****er! ****er!"
I was trying to remember the old codger with the dodgy syrup on Radio 2. He was usually on after Wogan. What a boring tosser he was.
