@HRH Custard VC nearly won the Butlin’s over-40s light welterweight title that time.

I would say most people haven't got the skill or know how to do it.

It's the normal civvies making a grand each month and struggling to cover all the bills but still managing, is who I respect more. Not half of these overpaid ****ers.

We'll agree to disagree, though <ok>

Really enjoyed that fight. As predicted Fury out boxed him, and Wilder was well, wild. Swinging and missing and not altering the angle of attack enough taking advantage of his much lighter, fitter and agile frame.

I thought the BT commentary teams scoring was pissed tbh, I gave Wilder 3 of the opening 5, but then Fury started to gain control and it took the 2 knock downs to make it a close call come the end. How the **** he got up after that right hand and left hook combo in the last I’ll never know. Wilders face when he saw him lurching to his feet was hilarious, as he was sure he’d ended it there.

Fury deserves respect for spending a fair few interviews before the fight highlighting mental health, and for me irrespective of what he did in the ring, the way he shared his story with complete honesty and how that will be a potential inspiration to other sufferers, was pretty special stuff. Fair play to the big mad pikey.

You really don’t want to get hit by a pro boxer. An old mate of mine fought for the British super welterweight title back in the day. He was never renowned as a puncher, more a boxer, but we all got involved in a tear up at a night club one night and he took two guys clean out with one punch.

They might not be renowned as punchers in the world of pro boxing, but in the real world they hit hard.

It’ll be interesting to see who his next opponent is. The Wilder rematch might not suit either party as their next fight.

Lennox Lewis said it was a clear Fury victory. Shame that the yanks cheat like that.

If the bloke from Preston had found Fury an extra point it wouldn’t have mattered but for anyone to watch that and give it to Wilder by four points is blatantly biased.

I call him a ex-junkie because that is what he is and he admitted it?

What makes you think he will do the things he says? Has he been buying you a beer every time he beat me up?

Both of those fights were really **** and ended with his own fans booing him - I have read that they were probably intentionally bad to make Fury think he has deteriorated badly and would be an easy win which could be plausible.

They were glorified sparring sessions. The guy clearly still has it as he’s just outboxed Deontay bloody Wilder.

We know that now but at the time we all thought that was his level - not being able to knock out nobodies and relying on his size to bully opponents and grind out points victories.

Personally I didn’t think it was anywhere near as clear cut as the BT team including Lewis made it out to be, I think there was definitely some bias towards our man within their overview.

Albeit the Sherman judge who had Wilder winning by 4 also watched a different fight to me.

I didn’t think a draw was an outrageous outcome. Fury wins it if he doesn’t get caught in the last, which I’m sure he’ll kick himself for once the dust settles.

I think the upcoming Whyte Vs Chisora is an eliminator for the mandatory challenger for Wilder's belt.

A rematch would trump it though - there is a lot more money in it now.

I thought this was a 2 fight contract, in which case shouldn't their re-match come first?

The Americans had it just as wide in Fury's favour.
They interviewed Mayweather at ringside after five rounds and he gave them all to Fury.
Paulie Malignaggi was going nuts afterwards:

There was a rematch clause if Fury won. No idea if it applies to a draw.
