Feb 2012 I was going home on the tube after watching Saints draw 1-1 with West Ham at the Boleyn Ground, in a game that had huge significance for two clubs chasing automatic promotion from the Championship.

Bumped into a mother and daughter I knew from St Mary’s and the mother asked if I was looking forward to the Premier League. The consensus among all of us was no, the PL might be the promised land, but nothing would ever beat the journey there from League One.

My opinion hasn’t changed at all from that day to this, though I did enjoy our own European adventure.

 

Not sure our defence will be able to handle them for the 90mins. Hate to say it, but I'm going for a spurs win here.
