Newcastle have an excellent manager, a good CB and an exquisite passer of the ball in midfield (who Gabbi would die for).... slowly pulling themselves out of it.
It concerns me that Cardiff, Huddersfield and Burnley are all capable of being a lot uglier than we are - I see them all grinding out points by being aggressive and hardworking, especially at home.
Both Onionman Jr and I make it to the game today for the first time in ages so we fully expect Saints to get the old dusty cane out of the cupboard and give these rotten northern interlopers a damned good thrashing. Vin
There aren’t three worse teams. On paper we have a few aright players, but the lack of leadership when togetherness the team shows each week makes us the worst in the league, IMO. When players start moaning at each other instead of fighting for each other, you know you’re in the ****. That has been the case for quite a while now.
Think you’re overselling us. We can’t defend, can’t keep the ball, can’t attack and can’t score goals. Think we are on the same level as Hudders and Cardiff.
If it’s a choice between being a nutter or surrendering to despair, I’ll take being a nutter. Must be nuts anyway, I came down from London for this; could have gone Christmas shopping in the West End. Actually, what am I on about, I hate Christmas shopping. I’d rather watch Saints get stuffed. Okay, so up the nutters
