in an English speaking country fair enough, but you need to know about costs and what change you should get etc or that can also lead to misunderstandings arguments and fights besides most people now days don't write anymore, they rely on technology to do it for them

people don't carry a calculator around with them just in case they get shafted with their change at shops lol or know how to read timetables properly. i always got moaned at by my maths teacher for doing sums in my head as had to show workings out. computers are built on maths and communicate in binary which is converted into a language we can understand and see ie pictures. have to agree to disagree here saint, can get by on little english, but wont get far with no maths.
