Kinell wakey. You been on the happy pills! Always feel side’s will be up for it in derby games against us, historically i’d never be that positive about this fixture. I don’t think either side is in great form, but this sheff united side likes to play possession football. They’re not unlike us... will probably be the first side we’ve played in ages who won’t just park the bus and try and hit us in the counter. So if they play like stoke derby and Norwich did... it might suit us. 50:50 game but i’m taking inspiration from wakey and going for a Leeds win.

Fantastic game in prospect today and I see no reason to go into it with anything else other than brimming with confidence. We'll play what is now our usual style with Phillips dropping into a back 3 when we're in possession with Forshaw acting as the the midfield pivot as we look to exploit the wide areas with Pablo/Dallas on one side and Douglas/Allioski the other. This is a significant shift from earlier in the season when Phillips was the pivot and Siaz/Klich were much higher up the field. The consequence of this tweak in formation/tactics is we retain possession much easier but pay the price by having a slower tempo. Great to see Pontus back even though he wasn't missed as we picked up 2 wins in his absence. As usual our potential achilles heel will be defending corners/free kicks so it's imperative we concede as few as possible...yes Mr Liam Cooper I mean you ! Leeds to win but it will be squeaky.
Good morning all Realy looking faward to this one,we always seem to struggle against top six sides,i know we beat norwich 3-0 but at the time they were mid table,need to win this one to even further stamp our credentialls as promotion contenders,i'm gonna go 2-1 Leeds,then gonna get pi**ed,happy days (i hope)

The thing is southern we've earn't the right to go into games like this with no fear...lose so what we'll bounce back next week and the week after. Makes a big difference as last season we were beat before we went on the pitch.
