BBC have the right answer but wrong method!
Liverpool would go through by virtue of having scored more goals in the group as you say. 2-1 puts them out on away goals in head to head.

Beat Arsenal and we should, if we score early, thrash Southampton.

You forget things often go Spursey. Probably thrash l'arse and Barca then lose to Southampton.

    Defending optional.
Not Michael Dawson or Alan Hutton's finest hours. Grealish seemed to do well, though.

You won't be saying that when you see what's left of the Burgerbun when several thousand Argentine psychopaths are finished with it...

Why is Mourinho the prick talking openly about our key players to the press?

    Disrespectful ****.

The truth is that every one of our players could walk into that ****ty team.

Yes, we are out of reach in every way.

    ****.

He's run out of his own players to slag off to the press so he needs to talk about ours

It's also gibberish. We're not in the same position that we were and neither are Utd.
They still went out and bought Sanchez from Arsenal, Lukaku from Everton and Matic from Chelsea.

He has a superb squad there and he's not getting superb performances.
It's not his first season at a new club and he's had time to get rid of those that he doesn't want and replace them.
If it's still not good enough, then that's on him.

What he is actually saying is that all of his players are so sh!the, all the Spurs players would get into the manure team. He just hasn't got the 10 billion he needs to buy them.

It's the part where he dismisses the idea of player development because it takes time that demonstrates what I've been saying about Steptonho for years, namely how he's only interested in the short-term because the short-term gets his contract renewed, while long-term he has no interest in because he's already buggered off to inflict misery on another set of players somewhere else

Tbf to him...we are a good example of the point he is trying to make.

We have been a selling club to them amongst others in the past but not anymore, point being he can't just go and cherry pick quality players from other clubs anymore...especially not us.

Why did he use Spurs as an example? Everyone wants our players but they are not succeeding in luring them away.

David Villa signs for Vissel Kobe, joining Andres Iniesta and Lukas Podolski

Oh, wait, I got that wrong...

Having added the perpetually midtable Vissel Kobe to their long list of investments back in 2015, Rakuten are determined to make their team J-League champions at any cost by flexing their wallets to sign players such as Andres Iniesta, Lukas Podolski and David Villa because apparently having their brand plastered on Barca's home shirts for the next three years and owning approximately 6000 subsidiaries worldwide isn't enough, so it's time for the J-League to get a taste of financial doping!
