Inkblot has locked the take-over thread, as the attempts of several members to get it back on topic were drowned out by others who wanted to talk about Sir Chris Powell Since that thread is locked now and I know they avidly follow everything I post on this forum (hi guys! ) I'll take the opportunity to reply here, and extend my special thanks to PL54 for pointing out the following; "Firefighters, Nurses and the likes of Nelson Mandela are Heroes - people who make a real difference, work thanklessly, bring about positive change and protect the vulnerable. Not average ability lower league football managers." Unless ITTV has now become a forum for fans of the Emergency Services and inspirational freedom fighters then it's just possible my admiration for Chris Powell has been taken slightly out of context. Naturally I assumed it was a given that we were discussing football in general at the time, and Charlton Athletic in particular.
I gave up smoking for two days this week By 9pm last night I thought I was going crazy ...resulting in a late night dash to a tobacconist
Ahh, you may have been lucky... he should have asked for your name and address (so they can send you a receipt) which is then added to the BTP database of criminals
Next time you feel like quitting smoking buy Allan Carr's book "The Easy Way To Stop Smoking". Did the trick for me after 23years of puffing. I'd probably be dead by now otherwise.
