    COTTAGE CLASH MOVED

Posted on: Mon 05 Sep 2011
QPR's Barclays Premier League fixture with local neighbours Fulham at Craven Cottage has been moved back 24 hours to Sunday 2nd October, kick-off 3pm.

This is due to the Cottagers' participation in the UEFA Europa League.

Ticket details for visiting R's fans will be released in due course.

Go on my boy!! Give them hell!!!!!!!!!! The last time I saw Fulham they beat us at the Bush 0-1 in 1946!!! And a centre forward call Arther Roley put the goal in, A very big fellow 10ft. wide, 10ft. tall , well I thought so at the time, mind you I was only11 ! Anyway hope it is a great game (for us! ) and you.

    Ah, jamestheone,must seem like yesterday.
There was an old Cottager codger git regular at The Connie who told me about FFC's innovative attacking 'W' formation of the early Sixties.
He used to test me on the make-up of it,but what with the EOA (Early Onset Alzheimers) I'm starting to forget...

    Bedford Jezzard,Bobby Robson,Charlie Maceo,Johnny Haynes,Arthur Stevenson?...something like that

He told me that back in the old days of the derby fixture there was a massive mob of Rangers that The Filth marched straight into The Putney End and then straight out the back preventing them from watching a minute of the match. What a swizz! I know my human rights and they couldn't get away with that in this day and age.
There's a toothless smelly senile old boy in Tommy Flynn's in Paddenswick Road - now called The Egerton - who used to greet me with 'Hello,Mcdonalds without the onions'.When I asked him WTF the soppy old so&so was on about he said 'Well that's what you are, Quarter Pound Of Rubbish.'

We all know West Ham are The Irons but why do you see so many otherwise outwardly respectable & mild-mannered FFC holding tubs of vaseline and hollering 'Bend down and play up You Cottagers!' ?? What's that all about?

So yes,Northolt,it's personal and by hook or by crook I shall be there.

My brother is a Fulham fan, so I too have to be there.

I was at the game in the 70's when Martyn Busby got his leg broken in three places. I can still remember the sickening shape of leg to this day!
