I reckon you will struggle against Napoli though, unless you get an early goal and then you'll probably batter them.
You don't really want to be playing an Italian team in this type of scenario ... and Napoli are a pretty good Italian team too, right now ...
Very tough last games for both 'Pool and Spurs tbf .... might actually be better for Spurs if Barca largely play the first team ... they don't have much to play for ... but squad players itching for a chance to impress might just be a right handful ....
Quite right Fosse. Very perceptive of you. Needing a 1-0 win against a top Italian team, only class teams can handle that.
Interesting point. On the one hand the better but under motivated players on the other the less gifted but more motivated ones. I'd prefer playing the second string because the other issue they have is not being used to playing together. But there are pro and cons - either way is very difficult for us.Good thing is they are not running away with the league so far, so they can switch attention there with the group wrapped up.
This is a bit different - Inter knew they still had a get out of jail - Napoli don't - but thank **** you are not playing a Belgian side next, eh mate?
Barca have something of an injury crisis at the back at the moment though, IIRC. Umtiti and Vermaelen are out and they may not want to risk Pique or Lenglet, as one of them getting hurt would be a disaster. They'll still have a bunch of talented players, of course, but I wouldn't mind them leaving out their best.
