There you go again assuming that Liverpool are not trying to win the league and any pressure that they are feeling is about whether they can beat Spurs to 2nd place. It doesn't seem like Spurs fans regard themselves as in a battle for the title which is ridiculous. have you actually looked at the table? I would say that the title comes down to a 5-team affair between Man City, Spurs, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal and any of those teams would be stupid to write off their chances with only a 3rd of the season gone. Forget the 2nd place trophy and the DOLL league - they are inventions of someone who is scared of failure. You (and Liverpool) are actually in a proper title battle and if City falter both are well-placed to mount a serious challenge.
In europe away maybe but we haven't looked nervous home or away in the PL and have controlled the games and won. So you're talking a bit of bollox really.
Trouble is he is wumming Spurs fans by suggesting each time they have no chance of challenging for the title (and I thought he was one). .
I don't think he's wumming the spurs fans by suggesting they have no chance of challenging for the title this year. Just preparing them for the inevitable Plus I'm sure hiag is a saints fan
Spurs are doing well again if we're honest but I do go along with the usual crowd in that they don't have the depth to win it, they could deal with that in Jan though and would be stupid not to.
Pooped out today, up at 5am baked off 20 steak & Onion pies, 40 sausage rolls 10 scotch eggs, 10 bags of crumpets 10 bags of scotch pancakes plus some complimentary pakoras and aloo tiki for the Thursday market. Sold out in an hour, beer o’clock now and an early night. Oops wrong thread.
... not just wrong thread ... crap song ... where was the ****ing partridge and the ****ing pear tree?
Just seen the goals from the Villa v Forest game. Wow. 5-5 and two disallowed goals too. What a thriller that was. Would be great to see these two big clubs back in the premier league.
