    Ipswich Town v Bristol City

Bristol City captain Bailey Wright could come into contention for his first appearance of the season following thigh surgery.

City midfielder Josh Brownhill is suspended after being shown a red card in Saturday's defeat at Leeds.

Ipswich boss Paul Lambert has no new injury concerns.

Ellis Harrison and Myles Kenlock (both ankle) could be fit enough to return after both missing the majority of the season.

    Match facts
    • Ipswich have won one of their last eight league matches against Bristol City (D2 L5).
    • Bristol City's league double over Ipswich last season was their first since the 1978-79 campaign.
    • Ipswich have won just one of their 18 Championship games this season (W1 D8 L9) - the second time in their history they have won just once at this stage of a league season after 1963-64.
    • Ipswich are winless in their last 11 Championship matches at Portman Road (D7 L4) - their longest ever run without a home win in the Football League.
    • Bristol City have lost their last four league games, failing to score in three of those matches.

I going to watch it on that Red Button contraption tonight - not the best coverage but at least I can assess how good/bad we actually are

You’re like one of those annoying door to door people they use for elections. “Please everyone hate LJ as much as me, I’m dying to say I told you so”

As much as he doesn’t impress me, I’m hoping he turns it around. Because at the end of the day if he does then I’m happy we are winning again.

    Team news reaction
Lot of players missing tonight for City: Matty Taylor, Bailey Wright, Frank Fielding, Marley Watkins, Callum O’Dowda, Korey Smith and, of course, Josh Brownhill suspended. Two changes for the Robins as Jack Hunt is rotated to the bench while Liam Walsh gets the nod in midfield to replace Brownhill. And those minimal changes make sense to me with City playing well for almost an hour at Leeds at the weekend.
Ipswich Town are unchanged for a fourth game in a row, with two former Robins in their ranks with old favourite Cole Skuse and former keeper Dean Gerken in the home team’s squad.

Don’t see goals in the team, let’s hope the rabbit comes out the hat and scores a goal or two.
