Really surprising. Still a very strong team, but we’ll miss his influence and creativity against what I think will be a very stubborn inter side. He was excellent against Chelsea on Saturday.
Not many mentioning the absence of Son. After his performance on Saturday, could be interesting against tiring defenders.
I think if we were playing a lesser team on Sunday like a Southampton at home for example Eriksen would have definitely started to tonight but he hasnt long returned from injury. The question is do we have enough creative quality in the side to beat inter Milan tonight? Looks like Dele will be in the number 10 creative role let's hope he continues his recent form.
I feel for those teams like Liverpool and Spurs who haven't managed to qualify comfortably with a game to spare
I'd rather save him to give the Goons a spanking...I think Lucas/Lamela are very good replacements for Son/Eriksen That line up should have enough to get a result plus Sissoko is starting...all is well.
I feel for the teams who'll have a deranged egotist holding this over them when anyone dares suggest their league position is grossly subpar...
With no Eriksen, I suspect we’ll sit deeper and try to get them on the break with Lucas’ pace. Pressing won’t work with this line up. Risky tactic.
We look like we’re trying to invite Inter onto us so we can break. But with them only needing a draw, they simply don’t want to oblige
