It won't have any effect, mate. I've posted similar stuff before and it either gets dismissed as more Project Fear, or just ignored for being too troubling to take on board. The government are due to publish their economic assessments of the various Brexit scenarios today - these will be ignored too.

"Just tell 'em to **** off!"

Wasn’t your post from Barry from Bradford who shared his wonderful ideas with those thick Brexit ******s at school pick up time ?

So, if I read it correctly, according to the government's own estimates, the various scenarios are rated (in descending order of economic awfulness} as follows:

1- No Deal
2- Canada
3- May's Deal
4- Chequers
5 - Norway
6 - Stay in

Must we really continue with this monumental act of national self-harm?

It is utterly and totally absurd isn't it. Self mutilation on national scale. Stupidity. And worse if it is all not stopped soon it may be too late, if it's not already.

BoE says pound will crash we will lose our houses. Big Ben will collapse and a meteor will destroy Dover.
Every time that muppet Cagney talks you should think what May has told him to say.

Honest question Oslo, and not knowing any of your background eg if you’re an expat or Norwegian National....but how will Brexit effect you ?

So the Government get The Bank Of England to make dire predictions for the economy if Brexit goes ahead. These "predictions" are apparently worse than when we had the financial crash!!
The Government themselves make forecasts for up to 15 years' time. 15 years!!!!!! They can't predict what will happen next week for ****'s sake.

These people really think we're thick.

I don't believe or accept a word of it. It's all project fear. How many "predictions" have this lot got wrong in the past?

Mark Carney making predictions of economic meltdown ?? I might be wrong but didn’t he have a massive climb down after the last prediction he made ?

bloody typical
pounds falling against the nz dollar
why couldnt they have come out with these dire predictions last month when i was buying pounds

Yep.

Project fear is in full swing mate.

Where are the all the economists lining up to say how great for the economy a No Deal Brexit would be (or Canada for that matter)? You lot sound a bit like Trump when he says he doesn't believe the 97% of the world's scientists who warn about man-made climate change.

The question stands......did Carney make predictions of economic meltdown if we voted for Brexit, and have to climb down after when he was proved wrong ?

Ps I thought it was only Willy who was fixated by Trump :)

You miss the point.
NO economic experts get their predictions right very often.
The government are desperate to scare us all, but the public won't buy it imo.

Yes, I think both Carney and Osborne admitted to getting it wrong by overestimating the negative effects of a Leave vote. But that was based on likely market sentiment about the prospect of leaving. Now we're talking about the real thing - actually leaving and the real consequences of how we go about it.

So all experts are wrong nearly all of the time? It makes one wonder how they got to be experts.
