I think he was. Some of the saves he made a year or two ago were outrageous by any standards. Maybe he’ll get back to that level and maybe he won’t but for now he’s not “world class”.
De Gea has been the best keeper in the world for about 3 seasons. This season he's not been as good, a dip in form doesn't mean he's a bad keeper now but it does mean he drops down the rankings for the moment at least.
