Just in case anyone's wondering, the NLD finished 2-2 and Leicester won the title. It turned out to be a two horse race between Leicester and Spurs. Spurs finished third.
We were never at the summit of the league...Arsenal gave up first spot in around January/Feb....then they lost their **** as usually happens once Spring kicks in. When we couldn’t mathematically win the league...we gave up. Arsenal gobbled up 2nd place because it appeased their fans and Wenger was always superb at wumming his own fans.
I love how Goons try to hide their own **** up that season behind Spurs...that was the last time you finished above us yet you still didn’t win it...like I said...that’s the small print a few haven’t read.
Certainly bottled a two goal lead at the Bridge. When Chelsea pulled one back it was men against boys. Typically Spurs in their utter desperation and lack of ambition kicked out at everything that moved making it the dirtiest London derby to date with NINE Spuds booked (a league record) to date.
