It was always going to happen, I put Hart in my fantasy team be cause he was cheap, scoring good points and playing against Newcastle. What could possibly go wrong
They did the same last year. A couple of 4 or 5 game runs in the season nowadays and you stay up. They are right now only 4 points from the drop it if they can follow this up against West ham (****) and Huddersfield (hard to beat but can't score) then imo they have a platform to cruise from. They also play Fulham. Before Christmas and us. Win the three easier ones and lose heavily to us and job done imo. What's safety this year 35?
What’s ridiculous and more wasteful is the huge amount paid by all the top clubs. Yes the mancs (blue and red) are paying their players £6m-£5m a year on average but the bigger picture is that the top 6 are not far behind with £4m-£5m. Do the levels of talent of English premiership players merit this or is it more like an auction where the upper limits are being reached simply because English clubs are flushed with cash from Sky and BT Sports? Looking at other leagues, some of the biggest spenders are at the top of their leagues. Barcelona, Juventus PSG are there . But surprisingly Bayern and Real Madrid are following the Mancs in having a poor season. The key role of their managers?
yes that is true, Barca are now topping 10mil a year per player average. it is an auction pure and simple. its an absolute pig trough. Its down to this however..... City at least look like winning things. Utd are the absolute pits and pay more. Arsenal look a better unit after 3 months of emry and the signings they made last year (aubameyang). Cheslea are a better outfit and pay less and have done so for years compared to city, and only have a manager 3 months. Theres absolutely no excuse for whats going on at man utd. none. Woodward needs sacking for what he's done and mourinho is totally unsuited. (long may it continue)
Obviously it's down to how much money is I the PL. That's why we're seeing big name players join the likes of Wolves and Fulham.
yeah , the list of richest clubs globally is a right laugh seeing clubs that barely get their stadiums filled and have no global presence in the top 50 and top 20 as well.
Just reading an article about Shevchenko, when the author of the piece gets to Mila's defeat in the CL final he says. "UK football fans old enough to remember Istanbul" https://www.bbc.co.uk/bbcthree/article/253d8385-ba3f-4a61-9b11-8a8c04f658e3 So that'd be the millions around 20yrs old or older.
thats even kind its 13 years ago. It's the equivalent of him saying nobody alive even remembers his own career as its so long ago.... pretty odd if i do say so myself.
