He has been shocking. Surely he can’t expect to be getting praise for playing as he is?! I mean I would never tweet abuse at a player as it’s a bit pathetic, but he needs to rise above that sort of thing really
Anyone know what the situation with Guido Carillo is? IF Ings were to get a long term injury, I think we'd be better recalling him than relying on Austin or Long as the front man
Let’s give Obafemi a chance rather than calling back yet another no hoper who we have wasted huge amounts of money on
I am all for giving Obafemi a chance (or several)….players can't improve without game time. He's done well in the Academy sides....let him get some experience at a higher level now. And you have to let youngsters make mistakes....no binning them because they aren't Ronaldo immediately. Just playing our first team players hasn't done much for us, has it?
I can’t believe that members are being offered a £10 discount for the home game against the champions!! The stadium should be sold out at full price, to watch them, with discounts being offered for the likes of Huddersfield etc. Also see tickets for Man Utd still available.
Both games are on TV so they anticipate lower than normal crowds Long distance fans like me who are throughly hacked off aren't coming down to games that are on telly, rather sit in my lunch sulking as we get the usual hammering from decent clubs with a glass of quality rum.
To be fair I am thinking of doing the same and I have a season ticket and only 30 miles to get there.
He may have had an issue which needs testing if he is to be considered for the United match, Callum Slattery was with the first team yesterday. I am wondering whether Bednerak is also having problems as he hasn't been on the bench recently since he came back from the International break?
Awkward.... https://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2018/nov/28/mark-hughes-southampton-var-whinger

If we were even half decent I’d be hopeful that we could get something from a mostly uninspiring Man Utd team. As it is, we need them to be terrible, us to play as well as we can AND a rather large dollop of luck.
