To add to that, both Bradley Dack and the big man Bayo Akinfenwa have been included in the EFL Team of the Year. Congratulations to both of them.
Sad news former Gills loanie from Aston Villa has died in a car crash only 37 years old. When he came to Gills as a young pro you could see he was a classy defender, whom soon got into Villas first team and had a great career there.
Reported on the BBC website Football Gossip section that the Sun on Sunday says that Leicester are planning a move for Bradley Dack in the January transfer window. Yes it's gossip so we don't know if it's journalists looking for potential matches, but he's evidently started well, and if he continues in that form then maybe the potential we have seen can be realised.
Sad to see a tweet from GFC yesterday that Gordon Riddick has died. He'll only be remembered by those on this site of rather advanced years, but for me was one of the more memorable players of the late 1960s. RIP
Paulo Gazzaniga starred for Spurs last night as they overcame Brighton 2-1 in torrential rain. Well done Paulo.
Interesting move and brings him back with his old team mates Keds & Weston. I think Payne might be at Ebbsfleet too, unless he is still out on loan. Ebbsfleet are mid-table having struggled a bit this season, can the aging striker add what they need, although the Fleet did find their goal scoring feet again on Saturday with a 4-0 home win against FC Halifax. I'm not sure how much Cody will be getting paid in this move, but considering Ebbsfleet's gate rarely touch 1,200 (managed 2k against Maidstone) - somebody must be chucking money in as it can't becoming from gate receipts.
brb, If you are referring to Stefan Payne he is playing against us tonight, he signed for BR in the summer.
