Saw Heat 3 times, because of that scene. For me, not just the best action film but the best film full stop is Terminator 2. Love that film, also Aliens is very close behind, basically almost everything James Cameron does, even Titanic had it's moments.
While interviewing prospective assassins for the killing of the Sheriff: Questioner: "Well, what are your qualifications?" Criminal: "Rape, murder, kidnapping, armed robbery and rape." Questioner: "You said rape twice." Criminal: " I LIKE rape."
Best "fighting" film has gotta be Enter The Dragon.
Bruce lee Kickass and cool while doing it. Did you know Lee came up with the idea for the TV series Kung Fu but the execs wanted an american lead?
yeah, the yanks were pretty racist towards the Chinese back then, typecasting them with buck teeth and penny glasses. It was mainly down to Bruce Lee that changed the attitude of a nation. A quite remarkable man.
Enter The Dragon I'm not talking about the film, but just observing our lass coming into the sitting room... She would bloody knack me if she knew what I was writing..
Trying to think of movies where the original was better than the re-makes..... Must admit i can't think of to many, as the special effects etc. always seems to make the re-makes better.. Except one.....The Italian job, original is best.. Sure there is more.
THE DARK KNIGHT!!!! Is the best film ever made! Honourable mentions to Die Hard, Bourne and The Terminator
Yep that was ****e, although i admit, i can't remember the original, so don't think i'll bother trying to find it, if the re-make is owt to go by.
I prefer my action movies that are reflecting reality ..to actually look authentic i thought maching gun fest in heat was poor in this respect......look at the D day landing scene in saving private ryan .....this is as close to reality as any film can get.....in my opinion
