Not really an ale guy but given some of this the other day and it’s really good.

Yeah it's decent.

 

It's ok but it becomes unpleasant after a few.

Good for a bottle or two. Your teeth feel like they'll stick together after that, too hoppy!!

 

I’d rather drink carling

 

Chap I know down here through the foodie stuff brews a nice lager called Hell's Cornish. They are doing really well with it and have got it in some of the big supermarkets too. Lovely stuff.

 

That Korev 'Cornish' lager is ok.

Best lager I've had in a while was on Vancouver Island earlier this year, at a micro brewery called Tofino brewing co. Great little place with a bar and a few tables, right next to the brewing plant

 

I love a pint of Stella personally.

 

How would you rate it against Cobra and Kingfisher?

 

Would yo like to give me an alternative that's routinely available?

I actually think fosters is better than carling. It at least has flavour to it. There are lots of better lagers than carling though would be about 80p a pint more.

 

Fosters tastes like Fairy ****ing liquid.

 

That’s probably what they clean the lines with in the cheese. There must be a better offering of lager in your local.
