To play rugby is fantastic, your covered in piss, blood and mud and your opposite number gives you a hand up after kicking seven types of **** out of each other for 80 minutes. It's quicker andore involved than football, your always moving, always watching what's happening. It's better at the grounds as well, although this it's all friendly is bollocks, I've had some proper kick offs after Wigan and saints back in the day. Football is a better watch on the Tele, it's why it's so popular, it's the ultimate armchair sport. Union is for posh boys, who like playing pile on with the other boys.
Only ever been to one International Rugby Match and it was the England vs Australia game where Erika Roe and her mate got their tits out. So I can say that I have always enjoyed Live International Rugby.
Love footie too. Got forced to play Rugby when I got packed off to this grammar school, as they were too snobby to play anything as common as football. Which pissed me right off to start with, but I got used to it and eventually enjoyed playing it. Still carried on playing footie with my mates though. Even when I was laying club Rugby regularly I was playing in a 5 a side league once a week.
I've tried giving league a chance but it's too repetitive. Run at a player 5 times then kick. Most of the time they don't even attack space. Don't see the point of scrums either. Love Union though and excited for the 6 nations with Wales, England and Ireland all going into it on form. Should be cracking. Plus there's this it has over football... please log in to view this image
Their scrums are a joke. Either scrimmage properly or drop it altogether. It’s not a tactically sophisticated as union, that’s for sure. Ireland will take some beating!...we’ve got em first up!...
I went along to watch Gateshead Thunder a couple times, but I couldn't get away with it. I love watching the six nations, though.
Don't watch them much to be honest. I do catch the midweek stuff so I'll endure it again tomorrow. The last CL game was quite good actually.
