Any of you twats listen to podcasts? During my many weekends of DIY I have been listening to Gilbert Gottfried's Collosal Amazing Podcast and I've often had to stop work from laughing so much, the guy is a legend. Not for everyone I suppose but when he's cracking up laughing I can't help myself joining in. Small amount of wee came out the other day when he was going on about someone coming over to take a sh.it on Groucho Marx.
Guess I am a spastic then because I laughed. There is even a film about it where other comedians discuss the origins of the joke and how it has been developed and embellished over the years. The story goes that Gottfried was at an event a day or two after 9/11 and started off his schtick with a gag about not being able to get a direct flight and that he could only get one that was on a diversion to the Empire State Building (something along those lines anyway) which did not go down at all well with the New York audience. In the face of mounting hostility he broke into a version of The Aristocrats which got the audience back onboard. Here's a version of it if you haven't heard of it before
