Definitely. We're still very much a project in it's infancy. Emery will need another 2-3 transfer windows to even get the squad he wants assembled. But we've certainly become more resilient. It's games like this that we would have thrown away under Wenger, going gung-ho and leaving ourselves open to the sucker punch. We were well below our best today, but we still managed to grind out a result
Really hope so. Both teams have got a midweek fixture though so might mean neither are at their best on Sunday. We've gotta win mid-week as well to stay in with a chance of qualifying so it's not even like we can rotate much.
Gonna be a belting atmosphere this one. Always is. You are playing really well at the moment and if we don't get hold of Son, Kane and Alli we'll get slaughtered. We're a bit light at the back still without Koscielny and Monreal, so we need to be really switched on at the back. We need Lacazette back for that one and Ozil to be at his best too. To be honest, I'd take a point from that game right now.
Brilliant, so you lot will likely be fully rested while we'll be feeling a possible European hangover, lol.
To be honest not really, yesterday was our first complete performance of the season, we've literally been scraping all other results. We needed yesterday though, a big win against a top side that was on a roll will have given us a lot of confidence. Not even joking when I say this but Sissoko is the one you wanna watch out for more than any of the others at the moment, I don't really rate your CMs and Sissoko has been destroying all of the opposition's over the past month or two. Playing like a man possessed, finally starting to repay that £30m, albeit has a long way to go.
To be fair it was our most lethargic and apathetic performance of the year but a good win for you nonetheless.
