Some things have been maintained whereas without protest they would have deteriorated & in some case disappeared altogether.
Well there's no guarantee that protesting will change anything , it's certainly got more chance than doing **** all though
Without the protests they'd still be calling us Hull Tigers or Tigers or anything but Hull City. The protests bought them to the table to discuss concessions. Admittedly nothing came from that but if Assem has stepped in to sell us then I'm not surprised.
No one was more surprised then me. I was in the South stand that day as the boys were younger and I thought it would only be me singing (god I couldn't wait to get out of there). Anyway, it sounded like the noise was coming from all four stands.
Heard yesterday that "whoever" and the ****s are still £17million apart in their valuations of the club. Lets get real folks..it aint happening soon. The ****s will go straight after the January window shuts ensuring that the vindictive ****ers leave us crippled.
'still £17million apart in their valuations of the club.' Add another £5 million to that after Tuesday night. Seriously, even if you had the money, who in their right mind would want to pay £40 million plus to sort this mess out? To be hoped the rumoured asking price is wrong or the misery could continue.
That's not what Ehab told the media - he said it was now in the hands of the lawyers which if true would suggest that a sale price had already been agreed...
If I remember he said "its out of my hands" someone on here presumed that he meant its now in the lawyers. It could just mean the price is set now its in the hands of the buyer to pay it.
'Still' do well? - we know why they do well - they have decent owners who appreciate their fans. Yes, its a smaller city than Hull (with just the one professional sports team to support) but I don't think they've ever had owners like ours who drive their fans away. And in the doldrums for longer than we have been? Are you serious? They've had proper European successes and I don't recall them spending much time in the bottom division or going 19 years without a promotion. We'd have no problems filling our ground at all if we had Norwich's earlier success or anything like the decent owners they have.
I really don't care anymore, I'm sick of it all. It's like watching an injured animal die a slow and painful death and not being able to do anything about it. My club of 48 years is being tortured by these sick ****ers. I just want them gone.
He didn’t say either, he just said he hoped the club would be flogged by Christmas and that was months ago.
Well said! I have sadly had enough I can't be arsed with it anymore but feel a sense of obligation to support the name of Hull City AFC.. But It feels never ending it just goes on and on. They have no intention of leaving the club in a stable state. Peasants should never be allowed to win. Plus we have a **** manager who sounds like a bad politician which is all of them in today's climate. Thank **** for England and what Southgate has done for football in this Country because I don't watch games on Sky/ BT Sports Prem or Championship games anymore I am bored ****less..
Tbf There was a reported tweet from him which was subsequently withdrawn suggesting 'it was out of his hands' however given its been redacted and there was no expansion on it .. make of it what you will.
Equally, until you know the terms you can't agree a price - is what happens with parachute payments, future Maguire sale as examples - otherwise you gave to keep revising the price
