Indeed they did play well. They got their tactics spot on and got into us early, and didn't let us settle into any kind of rhythm. 3-1 flattered us tbh and things that we have got away with in the last few games came home to roost. Saying that, Sarri has had 4 months with our team and I expect a few incomings and outgoings. Also, Kante needs to be playing in his proper position.
Do you think that Sarri will be able to change things? Or do you think that there’ll be a JT style dressing room revolt, soon?
He can change things as long as he wants to. I think that yesterday opened his eyes tbh, so surely he sees the difference between Kante and Jorge in that role. Luiz isn't the answer if he continues with a back 4. This formation with these players is a no no against the top sides imo.
I would have thought Man Utd fans couldn’t give a toss if Spurs or Liverpool finish 2nd or 3rd. Fans resent rivals winning things and all 2nd gets you over 3rd is an extra few mill in the bank.
Must win for us today really to keep up with the top 4. Bournemouth away won't be an easy game though. We'll need to be at it for 90 mins as they could easily turn us over if we're not 100% focused.
He did support Southampton mate. Rumour has it he only started watching Spurs on the TV because Southampton wanted him to pay for two season tickets because the fat bastard needed two to sit down,
When HIAG was a Southampton fan, he miraculously managed to see both Walcott and Oxlade Chamberlin playing in the same youth team together, even though Oxlade chamberlin didn't come into that team until nearly 5 years later.
