The squad might pick them up between them for speeding.

I think Hughes is part of the problem and literally don’t know how I feel about the gravy chugger.

I will be stunned if Hughes is still in charge on Tuesday.

Let´s just get the Tories out instead, then we would all be happy.

We’ve got United and Spuds next. No rush. Make sure the change is done in time for Cardiff game.

Then leaves, usually with a massive pay-out. Has no interest in developing players or connecting with the fan base. Ask the Hammers/Everton fans etc, all wanted him gone with his dull and predictable style. Then in 6-8 months we’re looking, yes, for another manager etc. Short term madness in my view.

He would say, we are not a big club so it was bound to happen, and then say at least we arent in L1

We can write off those two games, so you’re right really. It’s just a shame we haven’t had an international break in recent weeks to allow us to make this change and get a replacement in with minimal disruption.......

I guess the arguement would be that he would indeed be a short term fix. He would buy us time to avoid having to appoint another "long-term" manager mid-season as you tend to get less choice. Also, if we keep hughes til end of the season and try to get a new manager between seasons we will likely be looking for a manager in the championship. Sam would at least (probably) keep us up.

The worst team by points ever to survive a PL season was West Brom in 2004-05, with 34 points. The worst goal differential to survive was Wigan in 2009-10, at -42. There are seven teams on pace to (comfortably) break WBA's record, and three currently outpacing Wigan. The sheer extent of awful is the only thing that makes our awfulness look ordinary; in any other season, Hughes would be at home in his underwear with a bottle of lager, waiting for the phone to ring.
