One thing I will say in defence of him is that I have enjoyed most of our attacking play more than I did last season but that is not enough unfortunately.
My position is it's sensible to hold on until the right person is available, but Hughes is making that very hard.
Our next league match will mark three months to the day since our last league win, and our next four feature Man U, Spurs and Arsenal. He's going, it's just a matter of whether it's this week or mid-December.
there was an item on the BBC last year on when it's best (statistically) to change your manager (November). 6 days left!
but I seriously don't think Pep would do much good now. We've sold anyone who was any good and we're playing a Southampton B team in the toughest league in the world
who scored today? Armstrong (Hughes brought him in) Who's our top scorer? Ings (Hughes brought him in) + a load of previous managers blokes we couldn't flog off for a profit
I’m at the point where I almost want us to be relegated now, just to **** Gao and Kat off. I can’t wait to hear what Krueger would say in the post-season interview if we finished 20th with 20 points. What am I saying? Where are we going to get 20 points from?
I'm going to be controversial here (Maybe taking a leaf from my twin's book ) I don't want Hughes out as I don't think he is the problem. If he went, I wouldn't be averse to Big Sam either.
