for those who didn't see it. Henderson got lectured about 30scoends to 1 min before as a final final warning after giving free away he gobbed off at ref all the time the ref was lecturing him. foul he made was in Watford half right in front of our bench as guy received clearance and was headed towards touchline. Henderson ran towards player rather than just cover him and stay goal side. he barged the guy who dropped and then walked right off not even waiting for the card. stupid ****er
I do think what Z(?) said earlier about teams adapting to us has something to do with these performances we are seeing. We have got lucky with some decisions go in our favour again today, i think from the tiny screen i watching (missed last 15 like due to stream quality ) The plus is definitely we look a bit more solid and i have no idea if it the opposition changing or us that have changed We need a side to come and really go for us, to see if we still have the magic counter even city changed their style, we are going to have to chase the points down to have any hope as even today we have lost another goal.
I always look at our line-up and think how I'd set-up of I was the opposition manager. I'd let Liverpool have the ball and look to counter.
It's fairly simple, isn't it? Few teams can play us at our own game so most aren't going to try. We're going to have to spend most of the time trying to break down solid walls of resistance.
Today we got all three points and a clean sheet while playing poorly against a Watford team that was quite happy to sit all 11 behind the ball at home. The returns this season have been incredible. We don't play the swashbuckling football anymore and I doubt we will see it again this season because teams are giving us too much respect and sitting deep and yet somehow we are still getting the results
all i want is the 3 cms to move. jist 5 yards, not 50 sprinting.. just move 5 yards, know what yoy would do with it if you get it and get on with it. I'm sick and tired or seeing one miles up pitch and 2 just standing static easily marked by a guy who isn't even trying. it only takes a 3 or 4 yard movement to be free for next pass. I really don't get what Henderson is at. windy is just back to being windy.
PLAYERS RATING: Liverpool: Alisson (6), Alexander-Arnold (7), Van Dijk (7), Lovren (7), Robertson (6), Wijnaldum (7), Henderson (5), Shaqiri (8), Firmino (7), Mane (7), Salah (7). Subs used: Milner (5), Fabinho (5), Matip (n/a). Man of the match: Xherdan Shaqiri.
Winning is great but is rather be entertained in the process. We won a fair amount under Houllier but I rarely watched as it bored the **** out of me.
