This Klopp experiment of 4231 just aint cutting. It can work but not with cowards like Hendo on the ball. Firmino needs to be up top not this false 10 role he is playing.
When the formation us discussed this is how I always picture it. Salah up top and firmino in midfield just doesn't make sense.
well said. my view is Henderson and windy are static and back.passing. there was one move I watched us play ball laterally from rb to lb and all the while Henderson let a guy stand 3 yards away and never tried to really be available. We played it all the way back to lovren and Watford opened up following a the run so Henderson is free. he gets it and shaqiri sprints to be free forward and he just played it right back to lovren. as a result we are seeing a lot of **** long ball stiff from us. far too little passing on ground to feet. it's just Piss. you must move and run. be available and pass the thing.
The whole Salah upfront thing has been going since the tail end of last season. Really nullifies Salah as a threat and our play in total, not sure what Klopp sees
